You only get 100 calls to the Twitter API per hour. If we used them up to gather all of these stats at once, then you wouldn't be able to read your tweets.

Click on Refresh Stats when you want to see a person's details, including how many updates they've made and how many people they follow.

Search in the name, screen name, location, description, and tags for a word or phrase. To filter for a specific tag, prefix the search term with "t:".

People follow you and unfollow you on Twitter. If you want to see the latest changes from Twitter, you will need to click the Sync With Twitter button.

In general, you should click this button one time during each use of My Tweeple.

What is My Tweeple?

My name is Shannon Whitley, and I'm a Twitterholic, so much of one, in fact, that little things on Twitter that take extra time suddenly become a big annoyance.

Twitter's Follower management tools lack a lot of essential features for me, so I decided to write my own application.

My Tweeple is a great way to manage all of my Twitter people in one place. I can easily see who I'm following and who's following me.

With a simple click, I can follow, unfollow, or block people, and these changes instantly update Twitter.

I hope you enjoy using My Tweeple. This is your application as much as it is mine. Feel free to request changes or additions.

Twitter is working on an issue with their API. Until this problem is fixed, My Tweeple will be unavailable. I apologize for the inconvenience.

API Limits

You are limited to 100 Twitter API calls per hour. Use them wisely. If My Tweeple stops functioning correctly, you may have hit your API limit. Take a break every few minutes. You can squash those spammers later.

Stats

You CAN see how many people someone is following. Again, the limits in the Twitter API prevent us from displaying that for you automatically. Click on Refresh Stats to see how many people someone is following and also how many updates (tweets) they have posted.

View

Mouseover the View link when you want to see someone's tweets on Twitter. It may take a few seconds for the page to appear.

Blog/Website OPML

Encourage all your friends to add their blog feed to the end of their current More Info URL.

See the example below. Add bf={blog feed address} to the end of your current profile Url.
